Water lilies are one of my favorite flowers. I guess they remind me of the summers I spent in northern Minnesota with my grandparents. The flowers are always beautiful and very showy.
I love to spend my lunch hour wandering through Duke gardens in Durham. I can drive there in about fifteen minutes, so I have a good thirty minutes (sometimes a little more) to explorer. The pond behind the visitor center is usually my first stop as this is where the most water lilies are.
I normally carry my Canon T3i camera with a 70-200 f/2.8 lens attached. And I normally have an extension tube attached, which lets me get in even closer. I normally don’t carry a tripod as it slows me down, but I do have one in my car if I feel like bringing it.
I have great weekend!
